Paul S. ChungPaul S. Chung is Professor of Mission and World Christianity at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. Previously we was assistant professor of Lutheran Confessions and World Christianity at Wartburg Seminary, Dubuque, Iowa. He taught at the Graduate Theological Union and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, Berkeley, California. He is a widely-known lecturer in South Korea. In addition to being the author of Martin Luther and Buddhism: Aesthetics of Suffering, he has published many articles in religious journals, including Dialog, Theology and Science, and the Journal of Asian Theology. He also has served 10 years as a parish pastor in the ELCA congregation of Orinda, California.
